Step 1 : Add the lentils to a medium-sized pot, pour some water on, and boil for 30 minutes – until the lentils get soft.
Step 2 : Drain the lentils with a strainer and rinse them with some cold water. Then put them into a mixing bowl and stir them until they are slightly mashed.
Step 3 : Mix the jalapeno, onions, turmeric, ginger, olive oil, and lime juice with the lentils, and stir them together well.
Step 4 : Add salt for the taste and refrigerate for a few hours to allow the flavors to marry, and serve cold.
